#188 Welcoming our Littleman

Bismillah. Alhamdulillah.

After quite a long silent, I make a come back on this blog, to announce that I have safely delivered a healthy and handsome baby boy, by Allah's will. Biasalah, mak-mak zaman sekarang memang prone to puji anak sendiri. Haha.

We named him Yusuf. His Abah wanted to name him Yusuf, meminjam inspirasi dari kisah Nabi Yusuf A.S. Since Yusuf dalam perut lagi, memang Abah dia bercita-cita sangat nak anak nama Yusuf, walaupun sebelum tahu jantina sebenar. Although I sensed that I was carrying a boy. May you grow healthy, strong and as great as Nabi Yusuf A.S, dear Littleman.

Saya berhajat juga nak share pasal journey melahirkan Yusuf ni. Tapi jalan cerita sangat berterabur dalam kepala. Haha.

What I can say for now is, Yusuf and I were really being tested throughout our pregnancy journey sampailah saat melahirkan, sampailah saat Yusuf dah keluar dari perut pun. Hehe. He is such a strong boy. Alhamdulillah. 

During my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, doktor macam suspect that I am carrying an IUGR baby. Please google lah what IUGR is. haha. Masa tu doktor kata either IUGR or SGA. Doktor KK refer to specialist, I met my Obgyn, check-check, Obgyn ruled out that it is not IUGR sebab air ketuban okay, doppler test also suggested that everything is fine except for the size of baby was quite small, so my Obgyn suggested that it is SGA. Not to worry, so much.

Tapi towards the end to baby macam stop growing, or rather his growth is so slow/minimal, hence my Obgyn suggested to deliver through induce labour, at 38w. Kalau tunggu 40w, takut risky for the baby because he might not get sufficient nutrient. 

Maka, 18 May 2017, pagi, di-inducelah saya. Layan la contraction yang sederhana sampai petang. Cita-cita nak deliver normal, tapi takdir Allah mengatasi segalanya. Yusuf was delivered via Emergency C-section, sebab jalan bukak hanya setakat 3cm je, walaupun setelah air ketuban dipecahkan. Dan fatal distress sudah. 

Masuk LR pukul 5 lebih, pecah ketuban pukul 6 lebih, then I started to lost contraction, then after Maghrib heart rate Yusuf macam drop sekejap, suspen sekejap. Finally I was pushed to OT at 935 pm and Yusuf was delivered at 953 pm. 

Jenuh kapaten buat senaman squatting apa segala untuk bukak jalan bersalin tapi Yusuf nak keluar ikut tingkap juga. Hiks!

Hari ni, waktu saya update entry ni, Yusuf berusia 18 hari, alhamdulillah. Yusuf since lahir, stayed 5 good days kat hospital sebab Yusuf kena on glucose drip dan antibiotics and at day 3, Yusuf jaundice pula. Hehe. Hence he experienced 5 good days at the hospital, ditemani rakan-rakan seperjuangan (hehehehe) dan nurses yang baik-baik belaka.

As a mother (omg I am a mother now!), antara momen yang saya rindu selain perjuangan melahirkan Yusuf tu, ialah momen berulang alik dari rumah ke hospital untuk hantar susu dan menyusukan Yusuf di hospital (because I was discharged earlier) sebab saya gembira dan senang hati dengan treatment yang sangat menyejukkan hati dari nurses hospital itu. I somehow missed the nurses. Hello nurses! 

And to my darling husband, thank you so so so much for being a very good husband and you are now a great father too. Syukur alhamdulillah that Allah swt sent you over to colour my life. I do not know what did I do to deserve such a good man like you. Seriously, Allah swt is so baik to grant me a perfect husband like you. Thank you, Sayang. *teary eyes*

And to my darling Littleman, Yusuf, may you grow as a good servant to Allah swt. Jadi anak yang soleh, yang jadi saham dunia dan akhirat buat your parents. We might not be perfect parents but definitely we will do our very best to provide you with a good life. Thank you for being strong,  Yusuf. Keep being strong, tau!
